The sound of a flute: joyous, morose, seductive, fanciful ... it's what I fell in love with as a youngster: the sound!

I began studying flute at the age of nine, and started giving flute lessons when I was in high school.

I majored in flute performance at Wheaton College, and played in the Elmhurst Symphony and

the Wheaton Municipal Band, as well as at weddings and other events throughout the Chicago area.

My husband Ross and I live in Lombard, where we raised our three children, and where I have my teaching studio.

Currently I play in the Wheaton Bible Church orchestra, the West Suburban Flute Orchestra, and the Wheaton Municipal Band.
